I’m excited to announce the release of MacOSCleaner 2.0.0 — the biggest update since the project was first published.
This release introduces several major features, a redesigned interface, and numerous improvements across the entire application.
✨ What’s New
📊 Disk Analyzer
A brand-new Disk Analyzer helps you understand what’s actually using your storage.
Browse folders, inspect large files, and quickly identify where your disk space has gone.
📈 Dashboard
The new Dashboard provides a visual overview of your Mac’s storage with a radar chart showing how disk space is distributed across different categories.
🤖 Apple Intelligence Integration
MacOSCleaner now integrates with Apple’s Foundation Models framework.
AI-powered explanations are available throughout the application and can explain:
Everything runs locally using Apple Intelligence on supported devices.
💎 Modern macOS Experience
Version 2.0 introduces a refreshed interface inspired by Apple’s latest Liquid Glass design language, making the app feel more native and modern.
⚡ Performance Improvements
This release also includes many under-the-hood improvements:
🌍 Localization
All new features are fully localized alongside the rest of the application.
