Problem:
HA sometimes shows negative energy for sensor.

Log entry:
Entity sensor.sonoff_100186f3b3_energy from integration sonoff has state class total_increasing, but its state is not strictly increasing. Triggered by state 0.65 (0.66) with last_updated set to 2025-01-14T11:39:35.089570+00:00.

I am seeing a similar issue.

I get negative values at midnight in the Energy Dashboard (when I have added the smart plug as an individual energy device).

This is because according to HA the Daily Energy does not rest to zero until 00:05

Edit - Sorry should have searched better.
Trying workaround of using an Integral Helper.
