Why this exists
Authorship metadata in academic papers is surprisingly opaque. For most papers, we know almost nothing about who did what and when. Some journals require a CRediT table buried in a supplementary figure — but that's a checkbox, not transparency.

We believe this lack of visibility is at the core of most authorship disputes. And as science becomes more collaborative, the problem only grows.

So we built an interactive authorship explorer. But it's just the beginning — there's so much more to do.
