Thanks for opening this, and congrats on being issue #1 :)

I suspect Almanac is checking for the codex executable on PATH, but it may not be seeing the same shell environment where Codex works for you.

Could you paste the output of:

which codex
codex --version

Thanks, this confirms the issue.

Codex is installed correctly on your machine. The problem is that you’re running native Windows/PowerShell, and Almanac currently only supports macOS. All development and testing so far has been on macOS.

We should have made that clearer in the README and our post.

I’m going to keep this issue open to track that platform-support gap. The immediate fix is to update the README and docs/setup messaging so this fails clearly.
