🚀 Getting Started

Follow these steps to run the application locally on your machine.

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  2. Configure Environment: Open .env.example or create a new .env file in the root directory and add your API key:

    GEMINI_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
  3. Initialize the Database: We use a code-first approach. Run the following command to automatically create the SQLite database and all required tables:

    npm run db:setup
  4. Run the Development Server:

    npm run dev

    The server will start on http://localhost:3000.

  5. Build for Production (Optional):

    npm run build
