…en though 'geom' was in the documentation there was no code to actually read it, so it really wasnt actually a feature yet which is why I'm considering this a revision and not a minor version change.

Version 7.9.1. Related to #1185.
Even though
geomwas mentioned as a keyword forvectorin the docs, it was never fully implemented. There was some existing code but no keyword to activate it. This PR finishes the implementation of thegeomkeyword and adds two tests.
