I just wanted to express my genuine, full fledged appreciation you're doing this. I had JUST been speaking with a co-worker a week before I discovered this was a project telling them about Viper and that it's probably finally reached it's end and being closed source. Finding this the VERY next week made my year! This Alpha stage incomplete reverse engineering project runs as a whole SIGNIFICANTLY more stable for me than any of the makeshift patched up variants have in years. I honestly, truly cannot remember the last year it was where V4A wasn't always bugging out and I had to do something weird or a handstand while pealing an apple to get it to process again when it'd decide to stop lol. THANK YOU, YOU'RE ACTUALLY AMAZING ALL OF YOU INVOLVED!
So far, I've managed to run it since 0.5.0 on both a Pixel 6a & Pixel 8 running GrapheneOS without any other mod or changes to the system outside of freezing/disabling the stock AudioFX application.
