Community-wide Distributed Self-Development Loop

Been thinking about how Auto-Claude is uniquely positioned for something cool: distributed self-development.

The repo already dogfoods itself - I saw André mention in a YouTube video that he regularly uses Auto-Claude to build Auto-Claude. What if we formalized this into a community-wide loop?

The idea:

• GitHub Issues become the work queue
• Anyone forks, points Auto-Claude at an unclaimed issue, lets it run
• Agent PRs back with standardized metadata (tokens used, time, test results)
• Validated PRs merge → repo evolves faster

Why it works here:

• Git worktree isolation already prevents conflicts
• The spec→plan→code→QA pipeline is battle-tested
• Multiple forks working in parallel = distributed compute for free

Main challenge: Task routing/claiming system so forks don't duplicate work. Probably needs a GitHub Action that labels issues as "claimed by fork-xyz" when an agent starts.

Curious if others have thought about this or if there's appetite to experiment. Happy to help prototype the coordination layer if there's interest.
