Hello, Yes, I did receive the email from Somfy. |
|
Hi @Angelius007, thanks for contacting Somfy, I'm in the same boat (HC2). Quite a few of us are affected (MyFox2MQTT, the Jeedom plugin, the Somfy forum…). Shall we coordinate and all ask Somfy for the same thing: a documented local API, or a firmware letting the HC2 talk to our own server? Bose did exactly that for SoundTouch before shutting down its cloud (Hackaday). Could you share Somfy's answer when you get it? |

Hi everyone, I'm joining the conversation as I'm facing the exact same issue with my MyFox HC2 alarm. With the shutdown of their servers, losing full administration access, scenario controls, and basic maintenance features (like battery replacement management, etc.) renders the system practically useless as it is. I run Home Assistant for my smart home setup, so I'm definitely very interested in and supportive of any local API or workaround that would allow us to regain local control over our hardware and integrate it seamlessly. A big thanks to everyone looking into this and working on an alternative! |

Hello, An email has been sent to Somfy support; I am awaiting a response. In both cases, I requested the API documentation or a way to have a local server. Best regards, |

I've identified 2 server where the HC2 connect : hc2.steadyfox.com and core.steadyfox.com |

For the consumer side (reports to the French consumer authority DGCCRF via SignalConso, to HOP and UFC-Que Choisir), users are gathering on the Somfy forum: https://forum.somfy.fr/questions/3764847-arret-definitifs-serveurs-myfox-hc2-31-03-2027 |
Uh oh!

I just learned that Somfy is shutting down the servers hosting the Myfox HC2 alarm. Do you know if there are any solutions to continue using the alarm and its API?
