I am absolutely as grateful as I am impressed. I think everything I could wish for in a controller is in this tool. It's kind of like the Logitech configuration tool for Dinput being the long-sought, inexplicably non-existent same thing for Xinput. I MIGHT have that bass-ackwards but still, it was only 2 years ago out of 20 years using the DInput Logitech game pad that I discovered the Xbox style controllers are essential. Read that "profuse thanks!!!!!"
I hope your pursuits are realized cuz you've got a treasure here.
