What this repo is. It's the self-hosted edition of wardrowbe. It's MIT licensed, you run it on your own hardware, and you choose the AI endpoint. What gets built here is the community's work, so it stays free and open here. Nothing contributed here has ever gone behind a paywall, and it won't. That's a big part of why the two editions are kept separate.
What Wardrowbe Cloud is. It's the hosted edition at wardrowbe.com. The two share the same core (AI tagging, outfit suggestions, weather, households, notifications, analytics), but each has its own roadmap now. The cloud has features that need hosted infrastructure or business agreements, plus some that were built for it first. This repo has things the cloud doesn't.
What moves between them. Ideas and core fixes go both ways, but features aren't ported one to one.
Cloud and mobile app issues. If you notice something broken in the cloud or the mobile apps, you're welcome to raise it here as an issue or discussion, or email
hello@wardrowbe.com, and I'll work on fixing it.Docs. The README and docs/ in this repo describe the self-hosted edition. The docs and blog on wardrowbe.com describe the cloud, so if the two disagree, trust the README here.
