Finance Guru is a private, local-first family-office analysis environment. This Wiki is the canonical reader-facing documentation; repository documentation is the contributor and operational source reference.
Start with Getting Started, then use CLI Reference for supported commands. Before connecting data providers, read Privacy.
- The local, gitignored SQLite database is
family_office.db. - SnapTrade and SimpleFIN refreshes write configured data to that local store.
- The Python analysis suite and selected command help surfaces are checked in.
The evidence and source paths behind these claims live in the repository’s Wiki evidence ledger.
Finance Guru provides educational analysis only. It is not investment, tax, or legal advice. Financial markets involve risk, including loss of principal; consult appropriately licensed professionals for decisions about your assets.
- Getting Started — install and verify the analysis environment.
- CLI Reference — supported analysis and data-refresh commands.
- Architecture and Data Flow — local boundaries and integrations.
- Troubleshooting — common local setup failures.
- Roadmap — verified planned work, kept separate from shipped behavior.
See Wiki Maintenance for the publication and evidence rules for this Wiki.
