Welcome to the DDLS Wiki.
This is where you can find all
information out about the project.

This is a good representation of what our project will come to be.
The goal of DDLS is to create a tool using an AI system that picks a Disk Detainer lock faster than an average skill picker. A system that is also capable of beating security traps and allowing a locksmith to open the lock quicker.
"A Disc-detainer (or disc lock, disk lock) is a lock design that uses rotating discs as locking components. In most designs, the discs interface with a sidebar when properly rotated to allow them to actuate the locking bolt. Disc-detainers are primarily associated with Abloy locks, but ABUS, Kryptonite, and many knock-off brands have begun making them, too." ~ Lockwiki.com In short, they are made up of multiple disks that have cutouts in them. When they are all rotated in the right amount (Normally by the key) a bar drops allowing the lock to open.
The hope is to use multiple servos to actuate a Disk Detainer lockpick. The design will be in that of Dremel shape.
