% sizing should take up available space, not % of parent.

% sizing should happen as follows:

• Lay out hard sized children in order.

• Determine remaining available space.

• If unbounded, % will look to parents constraints, up to screen size.

• If available space, Lay out % sized children in order (row l-> stack f-L etc).

• Give each child their% of the available space.

• Determine any remaining space,

• find unbounded children, divide all by # of unbounded.

• Finally, layout unbounded children to fill whatever is left, if any.

• if there is less available space than minwidth/h values, overflow and clip.

• if children are unbounded, but there is no available space, return a 0 width container.
