• We will release a first beta of AlDente with support for macOS 27 soon.
• To receive this beta, make sure to enable the "Receive Beta Updates" toggle in the settings.

First of all, huge respect and gratitude for your amazing work on AlDente — this app has been an indispensable battery protection tool for all Mac users!
I’m using an M5 device running macOS Tahoe Beta 3 with AlDente Pro 1.38, and I’ve run into an intermittent issue.
I’ve set the charging limit to 85% and enabled Sail Mode. Optimized Battery Charging in system settings is fully disabled, and the native macOS charging cap is set to 100%. However, when this problem occurs, once the battery hits the 85% cap, it still overcharges by 1% up to 86%. After that, the battery starts discharging naturally back down to 85%, then the charging kicks back in again. This cycle of repeated charging and discharging keeps looping nonstop even while the power adapter stays connected. Could you please advise on how to resolve this? Thanks a lot in advance.

Do you mean macOS 26 Tahoe Beta 3 or macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 3?
If you are running macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 3, AlDente 1.38 is not supported on macOS 27. However, we have released AlDente 1.39 beta, which adds preliminary support for macOS 27. To get the AlDente 1.39 beta, open AlDente General Settings (Gear icon button) and enable "Receive Beta Updates". Afterward, click on "Check for Updates," and you should be able to install the AlDente 1.39 beta.

Thanks a lot for your fast reply and clear instructions!
I’m actually on macOS 27 Golden Gate Beta 3, not Tahoe.
I’ll enable beta updates in AlDente’s general settings right away to install the 1.39 beta and test if this bug gets fixed.

Hello, thank you for your support in maintaining and updating this software. I have some questions I would like to ask for your help. Recently, I encountered the issue mentioned by the blogger upstairs while using the software. The set battery limit values cannot be maintained; it always charges to a high percentage and cannot use the power adapter for charging. I tried rolling back to an older version, but the problem still persists. Please check and see what the issue is. Thank you, I look forward to your reply!
