Remap Middle Mouse Button Click for Old school runescape

When I used Logi+ I could remap the middle mouse button (click) to the back button on the side of my MX Master 3S. I am able to remap the middle mouse button, but it doesn't work the same as the 'original' middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel). Is there a way to solve this by changing an option or could this be a bug?

I use this remap for old school runescape so I can navigate the game easier.

Just wanted to add: normaly when you navigate in this game you hold the middle mouse button and move your mous/pointer to navigate. I think remapping this key only makes it do it a single short click where you're not able to hold it.

The same issue occurs with the MX Anywhere 3. I'm using it with Fusion 360, but I can't drag using the middle button—it registers as a short click instead. This makes it impossible to scroll or change the view.
