The current thumb-wheel preset list doesn't include a zoom pair, but the underlying wheel already has separate ThumbwheelScrollDown and ThumbwheelScrollUp bindings. The GUI groups those two bindings into presets in thumbwheel.rs.

For application zoom, a possible implementation is a paired preset that maps those directions to the target application's zoom-out/zoom-in keyboard shortcuts. Action::CustomShortcut already represents a key chord, so that route can reuse the existing action system. The preset would also need its label/icon and pair-recognition tests; it shouldn't require a new HID++ wheel feature.

Which OS and application do you want to zoom in? Browser/document zoom via shortcuts and OS-level screen magnification are different behaviors. That also determines the modifier/key combination and whether the binding belongs in an application-specific profile. This is a source-based implementation suggestion, not a claim that a Zoom preset is already available in the released UI.

This operation corresponds to two-finger pinching or opening on the touchpad.
