This repository contains various CAD models I have designed for 6th-generation Camaros built on the alpha platform. These models were created using FreeCAD.
This directly mounts to the rear rails of the passenger seat.
Assembly Requires the Following Items:
- Fire extinguisher and the mounting bracket (I used a First Alert)
- Mounting hardware for the bracket
- 2x 6mm steel standoff (24mm height)
- 2x 6mm hex nut and bolt
- Drill
Note: You may need to slightly enlarge the left rail bolt hole to accommodate a 6 mm standoff. Alternatively, a 5 mm standoff can be used without any modification.
This mount is designed for installing the GM electric vacuum pump from the C7 Corvette onto 6th-generation LTG Camaros. It attaches directly to the existing bolt holes in the passenger-side engine compartment, next to the downpipe. No additional drilling is required.
