Request - In data entry make copy across button optional

Describe what you're trying to do

Our data is variable enough that we don't use the copy across buttons. However, sometimes in data entry my students/volunteers accidentally click copy across and then it is annoying to fix, especially if it messes up values that I've pre-filled and set to carry forward - it ends up messing up every record they enter.

How-To

If there was a setting in customize profile to turn off the copy across buttons, that would be very helpful.

Others have had similar suggestions in the past-- maybe an undo function overall for the data entry screen? But a Uncopy button might be easier to pull! thanks

I'm not absolutely sure that this is actionable, but I'm going to dev to try to figure it out.

Solving this would also provide a solution to ArctosDB/arctos#7746 (and I think at least one more that I can't find....) - if controls are optional, we just just have "copy into blanks" and "overwrite copy" and whatever else might be useful, and users could turn them all on or off as they wish.
