Here’s what’s new

  • Text-to-Speech improvements

    • Option for adjusting voice speed and pitch

  • Reader upgrades (EPUB & PDF)

    • Customizable toolbars: now you can hide the tools from "toolbars" and "more" option
    • EPUB (pagination): now supports cross page selection and fixed custom font behavior
    • EPUB improvements: fewer selection/highlight conflicts, overlapping highlights fix, more accurate position persistence on changing view mode
    • More reading layout controls (paragraph spacing and optional edge padding removal)

  • New supported formats

    • ODT and FODT support
    • View-only support for: CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, log files, and code files (shown by converting to html)
      • Note: these view-only formats aren’t yet included in sync, local folder workflows, or file-type filters in the app

  • Library & app behavior

    • Faster/more reliable local folder sync and file handling (including higher folder limits)
    • Option for stricter file type filtering when picking documents (Home screen > more)
    • New UI for "Active tabs" on home screen to get back to or manage tabs quickly
