Vercel deployment blocked for contributor PRs

PR deployments are currently blocked on Vercel with the message:
“A member of the Team first needs to authorize it.”

This prevents automatic preview deployments for contributor PRs.

Request: Please enable Vercel Git integration for contributor PRs or allow automatic preview deployments for open-source workflow.

I would like to work on this issue under GSSoC 2026.

🧩 Issue Understanding

After reviewing the repository structure, CI workflow setup, and deployment documentation, it appears that contributor pull requests are currently unable to access or trigger successful Vercel preview deployments.

This impacts contributor experience by preventing proper frontend preview/testing for PR-based changes and makes UI validation more difficult during collaboration.

🔍 Implementation Plan

I’m planning to:

• Review the current Vercel deployment and GitHub integration workflow
• Inspect deployment configuration, environment variable handling, and PR preview setup
• Identify restrictions/issues affecting contributor PR deployments
• Improve contributor deployment compatibility while maintaining deployment security
• Ensure preview deployments work reliably for external pull requests wherever applicable
