How to batch upload?

What is the recommended workflow to batch uploads, to multiple trackers, which may or may not already have the torrent?

Is it as simple as providing UA the root path to all my torrents?
Or can I provide UA a file with a list of torrents/hashes from my client?

As I get new uploads, how do I tell UA to skip those torrents/files?

As I get new trackers, how do I tell UA to skip those trackers?

Best practice?
