Front End Documentation
When you first go to Mandala you will get a login page. If you already have an account you can enter your credentials and login, otherwise hit the sign up now option.
When signing up the required fields will have a "*" beside them. Once all fields have been filled in upon successful creation you will be redirected back to the login page.
After successfully signing up for Mandala the account created will have to be activated from the Django admin console. This can be done by logging into the admin console, going to users -> click the username you just created -> scroll down to until you find the permissions section and check Active. This account is now ready for login.
Once you have logged in you will be taken to the Mandala homepage. This will have a stream of posts available for the current user. From here you can navigate to your profile by clicking profile in the top navigation bar, add a post by clicking the Add button, or viewing a single post by clicking on it.
When in your profile you will be able to view your current name, email, etc. and be able to edit these. You are also able to delete your account.
In your profile page, you could click on the "Friends" button to list all friends you have. You may want to delete friends by clicking "Delete" button. Please refresh profile page after deleting friends.
In your profile page, you could click on the "Friend Requests" button to list all friend requests you have. You could either deny or accept their requests.
When hitting the add button from the homepage you will be taken to this create page. This will create a post under the user currently logged in.
When clicking on a single post you see the details about this post. If you are the author of the post near the top right there will be a drop down box which will allow you to either edit or delete a post. Deleting a post will remove this post and redirect you back to the homepage. Choosing edit post will bring you to the edit post page.
When clicking on the author's name, mandala will bring you to this author's profile. If you two are friends or your request has been accepted by this author, you will not see the "Add Friend" button. If you two are strangers, you could click "Add Friend" button to send a friend request.
The edit post page will bring you to a page similar to add post, where you can now edit the contents of your post. After making all the edits you want, clicking the edit button will change the post and redirect you back the homepage.
