The 'PAST' events tiles link to different things:
- Event page on the Australian BioCommons website
- Relevant news page
- Past user meeting agenda (2023 event)
In regards to the agenda, in addition to the link to the 2023 user meeting, you have one single link to all the user meetings that have run in 2024 and 2025. This link is in the different event description pages within the Australian Biocommons website.
My advice here would be remove the tiles in the 'PAST' events section, and add some text that says
- "if you want to have a look at what happened in our past events, explore the meeting notes here"
It's also worth spending some time on the structure of the agenda.

thanks @GiorgiaMori
I've removed the 'past' section, and added the suggested text
we should definitely review and update the agenda

This sentence
- "Stay tuned ... new events will be added here as they are announced. We look forward to seeing you at a future ABLeS meeting!" can be moved underneath the 'UPCOMING' events section, and replaced with the event tile when you have an event planned.

Consider adding some text. Ex "Showcase your ABLeS outcomes and be featured in Australian BioCommons news! See how other researchers are using ABLeS to power their work and share your success to inspire the community."

I can't deploy/find this page, and I think we don't need it ;)

This section can be linked to the 'Eligibility' page, with something like : "ABLeS supports projects across a wide range of topics and research communities.
Browse our current projects to see examples of initiatives that align with ABLeS principles and eligibility criteria. ['Explore projects' that links to this page]

Should this be merged with the suggestion here? #52 (comment)

Yes. This text here is the one that I would add in the Eligibility page.

This is mainly a repetition of what you have in the 'Home' section. I don't think it's needed. I would probably keep the Home section as it was previously.

Here you give examples but you have never mentioned 'allocations' before. Users will wonder:
- What is an allocation?
- Is this something I apply for?
- Are these categories formal or just illustrative?
Suggested text to add here: "Access to ABLeS computational resources is provided through specific allocation types.
These allocations reflect the different ways research communities use national-scale infrastructure, from building reference data to scaling workflows or advancing bioinformatics software.
Examples of common use cases are outlined below. You can also look at current and past projects supported by ABLeS here.

I have left some comments for you to review and made some small changes myself (see commit on acknowledgments.md and news-event.md).
