Unable to take a screen shot of QR code #1523

Hello. I'm not a computer person, so thank you in advance for your help. The Authenticator extension worked perfectly for Salesforce on my old PC laptop. This week I got a new PC laptop and I'm unable to set up Authenticator on it. I downloaded the Authenticator extension, launched, and selected "scan QR code" button. But no QR code appears, so I'm unable to scan and link it to Salesforce.
