Getting Started

Requirements

Quick Install

curl -fsSL https://nexusedgehailo.automatanexus.com/install.sh | sudo bash

The installer will:

  1. Detect I2C boards and Hailo NPU
  2. Install runtime dependencies (hailort, i2c-tools, cloudflared, tailscale)
  3. Generate hardware-daemon.toml from detected boards
  4. Prompt for ZIP code (weather) and site name
  5. Create systemd service
  6. Start NexusEdge on port 8000

First Login

  1. Open http://<pi-ip>:8000 in a browser
  2. Create an account or log in with Google
  3. Run the Setup Wizard (8 steps: Site, Boards, Equipment, I/O Mapping, Algorithms, Notifications, Alarms, Review)

Cloudflare Tunnel (Remote Access)

The installer optionally provisions a Cloudflare tunnel for HTTPS access from anywhere:

https://nexuscontroller-<serial>.automatacontrols.com
