Yes this is a known bug for words not in the dictionary, aka misspellings. Several linters catch words not in the dictionary but their suggestions are not yet combined. I'm guessing the ideal solution is still being mulled over. I've been thinking one way of dealing with it is to consider all such to be parts of spellchecking where other linters such as those that join or split words due to possible extraneous or missing spaces could offer their suggestions to the overarching spellcheck linter instead of being their own separate linter. But very similar things happen with other pairs of linters, just not as common. |

In Obsidian, when misspelling the word PREFERRED as PREFERED, Harper comes back with a suggestion but instead of two R's it suggest a space between the R and the E. Not sure where to send this issues, so I am doing it here.
