Hey Val,
Thank you so much for all the great work you've done here and also with Mongoose-Autopopulate.

I'm a bit worried because the mongoose-autopopulate GitHub repository is deprecated. Do you think there will be an alternative, or will it be included in Mongoose V9?

The docs recommend it as the go-to solution for some cases.

I have no idea why the mongoose-autopopulate GitHub repo was deprecated, I will ask around.

We do not intend to deprecate mongoose-autopopulate currently, so if worst comes to worst we'll just fork mongoose-autopopulate to the mongoosejs GitHub org.
