Description
Context and steps to reproduce
If a block theme has a front-page.html template, the site always shows the template as the site's homepage, regardless of the reading setting—whether the homepage is set to display the latest posts or a static page. The template shows up as the homepage on the front of the site, as expected, but the site editor shows the static page that is set to be the homepage, like the post editor. This creates a discrepancy between the site editor and the front of the site.
