New sites in Hosting checkout flow show incorrect subdomain

Context and steps to reproduce

When setting up a new site from /hosting/ landing page it appears sites are automatically transferred to Atomic, and have the resulting wpcomstaging.com subdomain.

However, in the checkout - we still just show the wordpress.com subdomain.

To recreate

• Visit https://wordpress.com/hosting/
• Start a new site
• Note the site address in the checkout.
• Complete purchase, then note the site address in the WP-Admin dashboard (which loads)

Fewer than 20% of the total website/platform users

I tried to find this issue in Linear, so I could group it with Hosting or at least label it as Quake , but I can't find it in Linear.
