I would like to share a project that has been part of my professional life for many years.
I started developing business applications with Delphi in the mid-1990s. Over time, the framework evolved through several generations, moving from Delphi to .NET Framework, then WinForms, and now to Avalonia.
A few days ago I released version 1.0 of Tripous.Avalon, the sixth generation of that framework.
The goal of the project is not to compete with existing frameworks, but to explore a metadata-driven approach to desktop business applications. The framework focuses on declarative application definition, automatic registration, data-driven forms, lookup sources, locators, application descriptors, and rapid construction of data-entry systems.
To demonstrate the framework in a realistic business scenario, the repository includes tERP, a cross-platform small ERP application built with Avalonia UI, together with additional sample applications and extensive documentation.
For those who would like to try the tERP application without building from source, downloadable Windows and Linux packages are available from the Releases page:
One of the reasons I chose Avalonia was the possibility of building modern cross-platform desktop applications while keeping the productivity and development style I have always preferred.
I would like to thank the Avalonia team and community. Without Avalonia, this generation of the project would probably not exist.

Hello everyone,
I would like to share a project that has been part of my professional life for many years.
I started developing business applications with Delphi in the mid-1990s. Over time, the framework evolved through several generations, moving from Delphi to .NET Framework, then WinForms, and now to Avalonia.
