Hiya, Is there any way to get rid of the Notepad? I love DMS so much, but one thing I truly valued was the sweet spot it had found between being a full-blown DE and a minimal shell. However, some of the recent changes feel a bit bloatware-y to me, like the Notepad, and I haven't found a way to remove it—or at least to remove the shortcut from the built-in launcher (where I would also love to be able to remove Settings and System Monitor). Any clue? Many thanks! |

Hi there, thanks for the feedback! Notepad has been around since the early days, currently there's not a way to remove it as it's built into the codebase itself and not an addon. However you are able to unbind the stock keys and simply never call the app. One enhancement it sounds like we can make is adding the option to hide the icon in the launcher as well. |

My bad, I didn't realise it had always been around! Thank you very much for your answer. And yes, being able to hide system apps (Notepad, Settings, System Monitor) from the launcher would be amazing, thanks! |
