Hi there, DMS uses Go + QML, Walker is built with Rust so there isn't really anything to borrow there. Ours is pretty feature rich as-is especially with DMS v1.5 due out tomorrow. There are lots of changes and additions. If you're able to come with with some specifics feature wise you may be missing from one to the other, we're happy to gain feedback. |

I have been using walker for while for my launcher and have been pretty happy with how easy it's backend makes it to extend.
Personally I have enough reason to simply use the dms launcher for most things now, but I still wonder if there isn't anything in particular to learn from the backend elephant. It is written in go so maybe dank could just directly use some of it's code.
