Idea behind storing wallpapers.json in .cache?

Hello. I'm running on Arch. I noticed that Ambxst stores what the wallpaper directory and current wallpaper are in ~/.cache/ambxst/wallpapers.json. Storing these two in .cache felt a little strange. I feel like they should be stored in ~/.config/ambxst/... itself.

Was there any particular idea other than maybe grouping the thumbnails and wallpapers.json together?

Most people change wallpapers frequently, and the nature of Ambxst is pretty much dynamic when you have presets that can change the whole theme in a single click.
Putting these in ~/.config would practically force people to version it on every wallpaper change. Also there are mods that add wallpaper randomizing too.
Still, this doesn't leave you without the option of symlinking or versioning that specific file. You know, we Linux people tend to make those things. xD
