Code Generation Process

  1. Install autorest on your machine.

  2. Convert your Swagger.json into the code model format using:

autorest --v3 --input-file=swagger.json --inspector --inspector.output-folder=./inspector --inspector.clear-output-folder --use:@autorest/modelerfour@4.15.396 --modelerfour.always-create-content-type-parameter:true

This will output a number of files so you can inspect the conversion process. Ultimately, you only need the file labeled code-model-v4-2.yaml. Place that in the Documents folder on your Mac.

  1. Open the autorest.swift project in XCode and run it. When asked, grant permission to access your Documents folder.
