Provide alternative to Brew installation

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As a MacPorts user, Brew creates issues (especially with Python installations + pathing) due to installation of its' own Python environment. Yes, they can live together; not an option I'm interested in.

Describe the solution you'd like
Stand-alone installer that leverages current system configuration (per any requirements of course), or alternatively run as a Docker container (does require installation of Docker on machines, which may be a non-starter).

Considering that Docker support is already available as shown here, looks like this is currently the best option.
