This prepares the next azure.ai.agents patch release by cutting 0.1.38-preview and promoting the current unreleased extension work into a dated release entry. The PR keeps the release-prep scope to extension metadata only.

  • Release metadata

    • Bump cli/azd/extensions/azure.ai.agents/version.txt to 0.1.38-preview
    • Sync cli/azd/extensions/azure.ai.agents/extension.yaml to the same version
  • Changelog rollup

    • Convert the current unreleased agent changes into a new 0.1.38-preview (2026-06-05) section
    • Normalize entries to the extension’s PR-link format
    • Capture the patch contents for:
      • hosted-agent policy manifest support
      • init-from-manifest subdirectory fix
      • salted resource group naming during init
      • Inspector auto-launch wait behavior
  • Spell-check support

    • Add new contributor handles to .vscode/cspell-github-user-aliases.txt so the release entry stays clean under changelog spell-checking
# cli/azd/extensions/azure.ai.agents/extension.yaml
version: 0.1.38-preview

@copilot enhance the changelog entry for PR #8521 to be more like the original text, while maintaining our consistent format

Updated in e72c004 to use wording that stays in the release-note format but tracks the original PR text more closely.
