There were 2 options of incorporating PNP changes into master.
After much discussion the second one was chosen.
One way to to do this could have been to add a model id was a kwarg. But I did not want to change the API surface. As things are very dynamic and are subject to change any time changing API surface is not a good choice.
Everything that has been done here can be removed any time.
