To provide a website where users will log in, then they can choose from a list of top rated recipes (fetched from an API), those recipes will create a grocery list based on the ingredients required, then the user can save the grocery list, and check things off the list as they shop, add other items to the list, or delete items that they already have at home.
Stretch goals would include saving favorite recipes and ingredients, calorie counting functionality for weekly meal planning, comments and reviews on recipes. Revenue model includes targeted advertising for grocery stores, and ingredients – Recommended algorithms.
Lots of “closures” will be needed.
