Basic Usage

CD Writer Workflow

  1. Craft or obtain a blank Blueprint CD.
  2. Place a CD Writer block.
  3. Put the blank Blueprint CD in the CD Writer input slot.
  4. Enter a disc name.
  5. Choose a local audio file with the file button.
  6. Edit the disc color or texture.
  7. Press Print and keep the GUI open until upload/conversion finishes.
  8. Take the written Blueprint CD from the output slot.
  9. Play it in a jukebox.

The CD Writer block can be clicked with or without an item to open its GUI.

Supported File Types

mp3, mp4, wav, ogg, flac, m4a, aac, webm, avi

MusicXCST stores playable audio as normalized OGG Vorbis. Non-OGG input needs FFmpeg through system, path, or managed setup.

Reusing Uploaded Music

After a file has been uploaded, the CD Writer can suggest reusable uploaded files for the player. This lets a player write another Blueprint CD from a previous upload without uploading the same source again.

Deleting a music entry removes the stored playback files and the reusable uploaded file for that entry.

Player Commands

/cstmusic help
/cstmusic list
/cstmusic info <uploadedFile>
/cstmusic delete <uploadedFile>
/cstmusic storage
/cstmusic download all
/cstmusic download auto <30m|1h|1h30m>
/cstmusic download off

Use /cstmusic list to see available uploaded music names. Use /cstmusic download all before long sessions to pre-cache active server songs.

Jukebox Playback

Written Blueprint CDs play in jukeboxes through MusicXCST's custom audio engine. Every listener needs MusicXCST installed. Cache misses can delay full-track playback while audio chunks download.
