Populate

When launching Nyja for the first time, users will be asked if they want to "populate the database using default indexers". Confirming this action will automatically crawl default Nyja seeding indexers and harvest metadata on all retrieved onions. This will allow users to get a good impression of the inner workings of the tool without the need of prior knowledge of the dark web. This populate command can also be launched manually from the GUI in the Crawling menu, under the Options tab .

Scheduler

The second feature available in the Options tab is the scheduler. Commands such as crawl, metadata harvesting and populate can be scheduled to run at specific times using the scheduling interface of the GUI. Make sure to keep the docker daemon running on your machine at the scheduled time in order to run the commands properly.
