First public release of Athanor Lite — a free, local, private AI desktop app for Windows.

What it does

  • Hardware dashboard — live GPU/CPU/memory meters, VRAM power ring, built-in speed benchmark
    • Model browser — curated catalog with honest fit verdicts computed from your GPU. Resumable, checksum-verified downloads
    • Library — manage installed models, one-click chat launch, disk cleanup
    • Ollama adoption — finds your existing Ollama models and adopts them in place (hard links, zero re-download)
    • Private by construction — models run locally via managed llama.cpp. No account, no cloud, no telemetry
