Problem description

It would be great to have the ability to copy files directly to FTP / SFTP.

​Use Cases:

• ​Backups: Simple and direct way to secure files.
• ​Automation: Streamlining the process of moving files (e.g., CSVs) from a phone to a Raspberry Pi for further script processing.

Proposed solution

Allow paths like protocol://user:password@host:port/path/to/directory

IF this is implemented, please use rsync with the ability to pass all of rsync's supported parameters.

These sorts of things are the dreams of pedantic people who are super opinionated about the tools they use (personally I only trust rsync anymore at this point) and being able to have the full suite of parameters to work with.

1. How about Syncthing? I use it for backups and mirroring myself.
2. Or maybe another app presenting the (S)FTP server as SAF, like this? (Haven't tested it.)
3. Yeah using rsync/rclone seems like a good option too— wait. I could make WorkManager execute rsync/rclone binaries directly. Looks doable currently.

Note: if/when this is implemented, it'll probably (haven't looked into it yet) have to be a separate flavor/APK because network access in an app that has all files access is something I'd find suspicious.
