Setup

Follow these steps to connect NovaPoint to your SharePoint Online tenant.

1. Install NovaPoint

Download the installer (NovaPointSetup.msi) for the latest version of NovaPoint and run it.

2. Register an app on Entra ID

NovaPoint connects to your tenant through an app you register in Entra ID. Pick the type that fits how you want to run your Solutions:

• Delegated app — acts as the signed-in user; best for interactive, day-to-day use.
• App-Only app — acts with its own identity using a certificate; best for unattended work.

3. Run a Solution

Open NovaPoint and on the left navigation pane you can access the different group of solutions available. Once you select which solution you want to run, you will need to fill up the solution form with the information required and select the desired options to run the Solution.

At the top-right of each solution form, you can see the button Learn More which will redirect you to the documentation of that specific Solution.
