06 The Marketplace

The Marketplace will allow you to sell your warriors to other players!

This creates a secondary market, and an interesting addition to the metagame overall.

• You can try to get warriors with sought after visual attributes, and sell them for profit
• You can specialize in training warriors, to provide pre-built warriors to players who want a quick-start. And charge a premium for your time
• You can build up a warrior with a great reputation in the arena, and then sell them for their reputation
• You can try to get a warrior with a great name, and sell since nobody else can use that name now.

Etc...

Lots of opportunity.

Note: When you sell a warrior on the marketplace, their balance goes with them! Keep that in-mind when setting your price!

Using the marketplace

To use the marketplace, simply choose "Sell Warrior" on the back of the warrior's card, and set an asking price.

The warrior will now appear in the marketplace view to all other players. Eventually this UI will allow searching, filtering, and sorting. For now it's fairly crude.

Viewing the marketplace requires manually hitting the "refresh" button to load the available warriors.

If you wish to purchase a warrior, you can view their statistics etc, and then choose to purchase the warrior on the back of their card in the marketplace.
