Update question

I havent updated the luxtronik HA integration for a while. In the past the update was failing and I thought it was because the firmware of my heat pump was a bit older.

Integration version: 2024.9.30

I thought, let’s give it a shot again because things are getting really old now. I updated to 2026.07.04 and I see something different and I’m not sure if is to be expected.

so, heating temperature does not seems to be related to target correction.

Integration version: 2026.07.04:

Heating is the same as target correction. And it changes with it when I change the target correction. When I look at the history table you see it happen that it drops after the update.

So, is this normal? I am at a very old version of the integration. So maybe that is my issue.

Yes, at the moment this is expected.
For recent model heatpumps (/ recent model RBE+ thermostat), it is possible to directly set the target room temperature.
As a result of that, users ask to change to code to implement that, and I did.

It turned out that that worked very well for the recent model heatpumps (/ RBE+ thermosta), but not at all for the slightly older heatpump with a regular RBE like yours and mine: you could not control the heating at all using the thermostat....
As a first step, I connected the heating thermostat to the target correction setting for these RBE using heatpump: at least then you have some control.
In a future update I want to bring back "setting the target room temperature also for the older models with RBE". But since we cannot directly set this target room temperature, we need to basically calculate ourselves the target correction factor, set that, and have the thermostat "look like" it aims for a certain room temperature.
I'll have a look at this likely around the start of the heating season: with the current high temperatures I can't (/don't want) to test everything works OK...
