Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS are now supported on LiteLLM

Generate speech with gemini-3.8-flash-tts and gemini-3.8-flash-lite-tts through the LiteLLM AI Gateway on /v1/audio/speech, with spend tracking, rate limits, fallbacks and logging in one place.

Generally available, replacing the 3.1 Flash TTS preview - Flash TTS is built for creative work like games, audiobooks and podcasts, and Flash-Lite TTS for high-volume dubbing and voice agents. Both draw on more than 2,000 prebuilt voices.

Launch pricing through December 31, 2026 - Flash TTS is $0.50 / MTok text input and $9.00 audio output, Flash-Lite TTS is $0.50 and $6.00.

Worth checking before you route traffic to it:

Prices double on January 1, 2027, LiteLLM tracks cost at the launch rate until then.

Input is capped at 8,192 tokens per request, so split long scripts across calls.

Pricing landed in PR #42752. Reload your pricing in the UI under Models + Endpoints -> Price Data -> Reload Price Data (or POST /reload/model_cost_map as an admin), on any version v1.76.0 or newer.
