GPT-6.1 Terra is now supported on LiteLLM

You can now call gpt-6.1-terra through the LiteLLM AI Gateway.

Half the price of GPT-6.1 Sol - $1.00 / MTok input and $5.00 output, with $0.05 cached input (pricing details here). Per OpenAI, these prices are 50% lower than GPT-5.6 Terra and GPT-6.1 Sol. Terra scores 50.3% on Terminal-Bench 4.0, more than double GPT-5.6 Terra.

Worth checking before you route traffic to it:

Above 272K input tokens, the prices change to $2.00 input and $7.50 output for the full request.

OpenAI serves tool calling for this model through the Responses API. When reasoning is on, LiteLLM sends a /chat/completions request with tools to /v1/responses for you. Reasoning effort goes from none to max, with medium as the default.
