Am I using Pterodactyl?
The contents of this article were made when Pterodactyl 0.7 was the golden standard. We're on 1.7 now... This will be updated soon. Just don't expect any of the information in here to necessarily be accurate. For example, you may still find "Pterodactyl Software" in the panel footer, but the screenshots are far from accurate.
This article will teach you how to identify if you're using Pterodactyl and is only meant for people who are on a shared hosting environment (Minecraft hosting services from a hosting company) and are unable to identify this for themselves.
We've also included a list of popular hosting companies and whether or not they use Pterodactyl as their panel.
Some Pterodactyl installations might have the default theme installed. This means the panel will look pretty much like this:

This is usually the best way to spot a Pterodactyl installation since many hosting companies will change how the panel looks, rendering the first method useless. Normally, the footer will include the following:
