We need to upload profiles to the chat backend.

A profile is send to the /profile endpoint with a put request.

fetching a profile
In order to fetch a profile you can call /profile/<id-pub-key.

Implemented it as PUT request to /profile

fetching a profile
Implemented it as GET request to /profile with an Identity header containing the hex representation of the IdentityPublicKey of the profile owner

I think in practice this allows for easier code management and execution flow compared to /profile/<id-pub-key unless there is a specific reason why /profile/<id-pub-key is necessary?
